White Coat Village - The White Coat Village is a family oriented and very safe neighborhood right next to the University Rochester Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital.
Students, residents, interns and families have found their home here. Many are permanemt residents owning their own house and many are students often staying for the entire medical school and residency. Students, residents and homeowners all live together in this prospering neighborhood. Among the students in the white coat Village, medical and nursing students are probably in majority together with other students and professionals related to the medical center.
Play Ground - In the center of the
White Coat Village play ground is located in the center of the area and many children come here every day.
On a Sunday afternnon many of
the children from the
neighborhood can be seen playing together here. If you are looking to live in the White Coat Village the three streets closest
to the Hospital are probably the most desirable.
Jogging - Winter and summer students jog in the white coat Village. It is a safe and very
friendly neighborhood where many University of Rochester and other students have been living
over the years. The neighborhood has a strong community atmosphere where neighbors look out for each other.
The wide streets are all line with mature trees and the houses are far away from the street creating larger front yards especially on Irvington Road.
